My life with you.

The wallet for
pet parents

The financial and business network for the European pet economy.

Payment accounts with IBAN, Mastercard and SEPA transfers — connected to a growing network of vets, groomers, walkers, sitters, pet shops, shelters and pet brands. Every transaction can become a reward, a referral or a new customer relationship.

MAWYO Mastercard carrying the pet's name

Large, emotional,
and unserved by fintech

Fintech has verticalised almost everything: freelancers, restaurants, teenagers, gamers. In Europe, it has not verticalised pets.

The product

A complete financial product.
Built around a two-sided pet network.

The card is the consumer entry point. The network is the growth engine: pet owners get better value and rewards, while pet businesses get a new distribution and retention channel.

💳

Named pet card

A Mastercard carrying your pet's name. Virtual from day one, physical on the paid tier — the reason people show it to other people.

🎁

Network rewards

Partner offers can return cashback or PawPoints to the customer. The value is funded by affiliate commission, partner budgets or card economics, not by blanket discounts.

🏠

Shelter donations

Every activated card carries a donation option on its cashback to a founding shelter partner. Shelters hold their own account — the cashback is transferred directly to them, never held by us.

Business payments

Instant account-to-account payments and a business profile for vets, groomers, walkers, sitters, trainers and shops. The customer stays in the ecosystem after the card payment.

📊

Pet spend analytics

Full-screen breakdown of what your pet actually costs: food, health, grooming, insurance — categorised automatically.

🔎

Price discovery & DROPS

Search the best price on your pet's products in seconds, or let the assistant watch them and alert you when they fall below what you normally pay. See how it works ↓

Business network

We don't just serve pet owners.
We connect the businesses they already trust.

The supply side is not a directory bolted onto a fintech product. It is a commercial network: businesses join to acquire customers, run targeted offers, receive payments and build recurring relationships with pet owners.

🩺

Vets & clinics

Acquire new clients through tracked referrals, offer member benefits and accept instant payments from the network.

Business model: the same customer can generate value for a vet, a dog walker, a shop, a hotel, an insurer and a shelter — while the platform tracks the relationship, the transaction and the reward in one place.
Retention

DROPS — the reason
they open the app

Subscription products fail when the user forgets they exist. The wallet already categorises pet spending, so it holds something no comparison site has: a verified list of what each household actually buys and what it normally pays.

  • Immediate need. The user asks; the assistant returns the best available price across European retailers, with delivery times. It replaces the moment the user would have opened a search engine.
  • Deferred need. The assistant monitors those specific products and issues one alert when the price falls meaningfully below that household's own baseline. It replaces nothing — it creates a reason to return.
  • The first drives usage. The second drives retention. Retention is what defends the subscription, and pet subscriptions already churn at 3.4% a month, the lowest of any DTC category.
  • It repays the fee in the user's own numbers. Four acted-on alerts on a household spending at European averages cover the annual tier — on purchases already being made.
  • The business model is the moat, not the technology. Comparison sites monetise clicks to merchants and cannot advise against a purchase. Our revenue comes from the subscriber, so the assistant can say this is above what you paid in March.
  • Scope, deliberately narrow. Pet products and prices only. Not accounts, not cards, not animal health or veterinary care — those sit outside our licensing perimeter and outside the product by design.

Architecture

Licensed-partner model —
fast, compliant, scalable

MAWYO operates as a distribution partner under the French EMI licence of an authorised Electronic Money Institution, supervised by the ACPR and passported across the EEA. It is the same architecture behind most European fintech products.

  • No banking licence to obtain — operational in months, not years, with no capital requirement
  • The EMI holds the licence and safeguards client funds, segregated at a tier-1 European bank
  • We own the product — interface, customer relationship, pet data, commercial model
  • The EMI operates the plumbing — KYC and AML, Mastercard scheme membership, regulatory reporting
  • One licence, EEA-wide — 30 countries reachable without a second authorisation
  • Subscription revenue from day one — the model does not depend on how much anyone spends
  • The pet layer is ours alone — profiles, named cards, categorisation, shelter network: not replicable by switching provider
We hold no funds: no deposits, no lending, no custody. Money moves between accounts held at the licensed institution, including the shelters'. The trade is a ceiling — no lending, no interest income — and that ceiling is what makes a licensed acquirer want this.

Roadmap

What the wallet
becomes

The card and the account are where it starts. What follows is everything else a pet costs a household — and one place to handle it.

Phase 2 to 4 · After regulated launch
✈️

Travel that takes the animal

Flights and stays that accept the pet, at the real price with the pet fee in it. One search instead of an afternoon of phone calls.

🏷️

The price they actually pay

The best price on what the household already buys, and a nudge when it drops. Savings on purchases they were making anyway.

💎

Value that comes back

What they spend returns as value they can put toward the fee to fly, the surcharge at the hotel, the trip to the clinic.

🛋️

The airport, without the wait

Lounge and fast-track access for people travelling with an animal, instead of the gate.

🛡️

Cover, included

Pet cover from a licensed partner, included in the plan. One fee, and the animal is protected.

🐾

Everyone who looks after the animal

Vets, sitters, walkers, groomers and trainers, found and paid from one place.

One wallet for everything the animal costs.
Timeline

Three phases,
from build to scale

The application and the regulated plumbing behind it exist and run in a sandbox. Everything the directory, the business tier and multi-market reach depend on happens at launch, not later.

Phase 1 · Build · Months 1–6

Foundation and regulated setup

  • NTPU B.V. incorporated — done
  • Provider sandbox integrated — done
  • Provider agreement signed
  • Backend schema, KYC flow, token exchange
  • IBAN and virtual card live
  • Founding shelters and pet businesses onboarded: vets, walkers, sitters, groomers and shops
  • Private beta
Phase 2 · Launch · Year 1 · Seed

Public launch, all four tiers

  • App Store and Google Play release
  • Physical named pet cards issued
  • All four tiers live, business included
  • Partner network open across launch markets
  • Referral network live: shelters, walkers, sitters, groomers, vets, shops, communities and creators
  • Multi-market from day one under the EEA passport
  • Target: 40,000 active users · 2,800 paying
Phase 3 · Scale · Year 2–3 · Series A and B

Density, depth, expansion

  • Partner directory scales into a paid two-sided transactional network
  • Referral engine at volume, blended CAC falling
  • Deeper EEA coverage and local IBANs
  • Series A, then Series B
  • Year 2: 250,000 active users · 20,000 paying
  • Year 3: 1,000,000 active users · 90,000 paying
Plans

Free to enter.
Paid to benefit.

A feature wall, not a free trial. The free tier exists to build the base and prove engagement; it is funded by the raise, not by interchange. Annual billing is offered at a discount because it is the single strongest lever on churn.

The only difference between Standard and Premium is the physical card. Business pricing is set at the European neobank floor — Qonto opens at €9 a month, Revolut Business at €7 — because the supply side is an acquisition channel before it is a revenue line.
Distribution

The network becomes
the acquisition engine.

Every pet business already has a relationship with owners. We turn those relationships into a measurable distribution layer, with a clear economic incentive for every participant.

📈
Year 1 · Seed
€530K · 40,000 users

Go-to-market. 7% paid conversion, 2,800 paying subscribers. Blended CAC €75, referral-led.

🚀
Year 2 · Series A
€3.8M · 250,000 users

8% conversion, 20,000 paying subscribers. Blended CAC €60 as referral displaces paid acquisition.

🏁
Year 3 · Series B
€16.9M · 1,000,000 users

9% conversion, 90,000 paying subscribers. Blended CAC €50. EU-wide expansion.

Valuation reference is a proposed term, not a transacted price. The €400K pre-seed funds Year 1 · Seed; the trajectory above assumes subsequent financings and dilution accordingly. Conversion of 7–9% sits above Monzo's 7.4% consumer rate and below the 12% European pet insurance penetration. CAC is modelled to fall from €75 to €50 as referral acquisition displaces paid; the sector benchmark is €37.50 at Monzo, paid-led. Provider fees per card and per account are not yet contracted and are the largest open variable in the cost base.
